This is a full-time postdoctoral position with a fixed term-contract with initial employment of 3 years, an extension to 6 years in total is subject to a positive assessment with the goal of academic qualification (habilitation or equivalent).
The work at Center for Resource Management and Solid Waste Engineering (RMAT) focuses on the development of resource-efficient and environmentally sound solutions for the circular economy. At the center, both experimental methods of waste characterization and processing as well as system analysis tools for the optimization of material and energy flows, such as material flow analysis (MFA) or life cycle assessment (LCA), are applied and further developed. As a researcher at RMAT, you will be part of a nationally and internationally well connected and productive research team whose profile in research and teaching will be complemented and further strengthened through your collaboration.
