A permanent full-time position is offered in the field of "Foreign Language Teaching and Learning Research of English", which is committed to the close integration of empiricism, theory and practice and focuses on the psycholinguistically based, empirical investigation of learning and teaching processes of English as a foreign language in contexts of second or third language acquisition, taking into account cognitive factors and the development of evidence-based implications for the teaching of English as a foreign language. We are looking for an academically proven personality with an outstanding international profile with practical and academic expertise in the focus of the chair on "Foreign Language Teaching and Learning Research of English" with an aim to build an excellent bridge between "theory-empiricism-practice". The teaching load for predominantly teaching activities (taking into account other service duties) is 14 hours per week (§3, LVerpflV HE 2013).
