Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H, Temporary, part-time (currently 20 hours per week)

Part-time with 50% of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited until 31 May 2028 as part of the project ‘PRIMA cooperation project BLUMI-Med: Strengthening local urban markets in the Mediterranean region, Sub-project 1’ in accordance with Section 2 WissZeitVG, subject to approval of funding of the project. The possibility to pursue a habilitation with existing PhD is given.
Tasks:
- Scientific collaboration and administrative coordination in the BLUMI-Med project
Requirements:
- Completed university degree in agricultural sciences, economics, social sciences, business administration, sustainability sciences or geography. The required degree must be acquired by the date of recruitment at the latest
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Experience in qualitative social science research
- Interest in the development of sustainable agricultural and food systems
Of advantage are:
- Experience in quantitative social science research
- Interest in conceptual work on the development of sustainable agricultural and food systems
- Good prior knowledge of other languages of the Mediterranean region
- Thorough and independent working style
- Advanced organisational skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Experience in the implementation of collaborative research projects
