We are seeking an individual with a track record of both basic and applied, internationally visible research in the fields of environmental and social psychology. His/her research programme demonstrates both theoretical and practical insights, a high level of methodological rigour, and the ability to connect with research priorities within the Department of Psychology and the University of Kassel. In addition to high-quality publications in relevant international peer-reviewed journals, the successful candidate is expected to have already acquired external funding.
In terms of teaching, the successful candidate will be expected to cover the topics of environmental and social psychology in the bachelor and master programmes in psychology. In addition, teaching is expected in the Master of Business, Psychology and Management. Experience in university teaching is required.
Participation in academic self-governance is part of the job description and relevant experience is desirable.

The prerequisites for employment and performance requirements are determined by §§ 67, 68 of the Higher Education Act of the Federal State of Hesse (HessHG). A PhD and relevant additional scientific achievements (e.g. habilitation) are required.
